Hello!  Today we are going to look at the concept of an angle and the types of angles.  Angles are part of our daily life, some examples can be: -Corners of a room:  The corners of a room form right (90-degree) angles, which are important for furniture design, object layout and general construction. -Clocks: Clocks show angles through the hands. For example, the hour hand. -Directions and maps: Angles are used to indicate directions on a map. For example, when you are told to turn 45 degrees to the left, you are making a specific angle with respect to your current position.   Definition: An angle is the portion of the plane between two ray lines that have a common origin.  The ray lines are called sides and the common origin is the vertex.  Types of angles Acute angle: Measures less than 90° and more than 0°. Right angle: It measures 90° and its sides are always perpendicular to each other.  Obtuse angle: Greater than 90° but less than 180°. To learn all about obtuse angle. REFERE

Introduction to Geometry

Hello to all of you! Today I am going to give you an introduction to geometry and some basic concepts about it.  Defini tion:  Geometry is a branch of mathematics t hat deals with shapes and figures. Geometry explains how to build or draw shapes, measure them, and compare them. People use geometry in many kinds of work, from building houses and bridges to planning space travel.  (Encyclopædia Britannica, 2024) BASIC CONCEPTS OF GEOMETRY: (Encyclopædia Britannica, 2024) Points, Lines and Angles Points: Represented by a dot. It doesn't have any length or width. It's just a location in space, like a pinpoint in a map. Lines:   Line is an object that extends without end in both directions. A line segment is a part of a line with two end points. It is usually drawn with arrowheads to show that it goes on forever. A line segment is a part of a line with two end points.  Angles:  Angles are measured in degrees. A right angle measures 90 degrees. Angles that are smaller than a right a
